About
Louise Lauzon and Ivan Steenhout, owners of Grand Flodden Farm, located in Racine in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, raised purebred angora goats for nearly thirty years. Now a page has been turned: their flock, which numbered some 100 heads, was recently sold.
However, they still continue to hand-produce unique pieces in mohair.
Louise, an excellent knitter, continues to hand-knit various garments and accessories in mohair (sweaters, shawls, scarves, tuques, mittens, etc.) which she sells at a number of Salons and Exhibitions in Quebec, while Ivan is responsible for commercial relations and marketing of products manufactured in larger numbers, such as socks or blankets.
